Our Families

Here are some stories of our amazing Mended Little Hearts families.

If you are a member of our chapter and would like your child to appear on this page, please send a photo and short story to SiliconValleyCA@mendedlittlehearts.org.

Drew was born with a congenital heart defect in February 2004. He was diagnosed with interrupted aortic arch and required life-saving surgery to survive. He had his first open-heart surgery at 7 days old, another at 4 months old, and a third when he was 4 years old. He will require more surgery as he gets older, but for now he is a happy and healthy 8-year old who loves his family, friends and sports of every kind.
